How to treat acne?
If you only have a few pimples: Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water until you get a thick mixture. Apply it on your skin. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse off with clean water.
If acne covers a large surface: dissolve 1 to 2 teaspoons of baking soda in 8.5 oz of lukewarm water. Use this liquid as a facial cleanser and without rubbing apply it to your acne area with a cotton ball. Then rinse off with clean water and dry the skin by gently patting with a clean towel.
Keep in mind that baking soda can dry the skin so only apply it to pimples. If necessary, apply a moisturizer for acne-prone skin.
Treat your skin gently
Even if your temptation is high, you always have to resist the urge to scratch, break or squeeze your acne. This will only irritate your skin even more and provoke a breakout of new pimples. Also, avoid overly potent remedies when trying to get rid of excess fat at all costs: the goal is not to completely remove it (fat is essential for protecting your skin), but to regulate it. Use gentle gels and wash your skin as gently as you can, without rubbing.
